Christian Crumlish reported on the You're It! blog that Amazon has begun supporting community-donated tags.  It doesn't appear for me, even after logging in, so they must be rolling it out slowly or intermittently.

This represents a huge move forward for one of the most popular Web sites.  Holding up this example will make it much easier to argue for tag-based navigation on smaller-scale sites that we develop at Clear Ink.
